I am such a sucker for nostalgia stuff. I had one of these needle cards. You just don't see them any more. They were super sharp sewing needles.........and it had my name on it. I am such a "girl"..lol

How we came to be here.
This site is named after the town in Wales where Granny Ann was born and honours all the Welshwomen who came before....Also in remembrance of "Grampy." His superior knitting tension made all the women jealous.

I had a needle case which was shaped like a basket of flowers, folded at the bottom so that you lifted the handles apart to open it. The cotton inside was pink. I can remember it so clearly, when so many other things have been forgotten...
So, you modelled too?
Colin: lolol.... Oh sure that's me to the right..the ditzy brunette with the bun and the pearls..all that's missing are my glasses.
Helen: I remember the flower basket I think I may have had one of those at one time.
