Welshies love Dragons

Welshies love all dragons, especially red ones. I started this back in March, but it was always too big for my liking. Finally, I restarted with a finer yarn and I am happy with the result. Once a month I join a group of wonderful ladies who make and donate chemo caps in memory of a woman named Liz.
I first heard of them through my friend Sandy, back when Carl was in the hospital in 2013. I made and donated some monster hats for children at that time.
My personal goal was to make 12 unique hats styled for children in 2015. This is my donation for October's get together. This is my 15th hat for this year.
My hat was photobombed by the cat, Whisper.

Róisín Dubh (Black Roses) Shawl

Kicking off the month of October by finishing off another project. I knit the body of the shawl from June to July 2014. Then I started the edging on the shawl  Aug 2014, knit some more in Dec 2015, then more in Jan 2015, put it aside, back at it in July 2015, finally in September I said, " I have to finish this." Ta Dah!!
