More Infant Loss Gowns

I have been busy making more gowns for Credit Valley Hospital. I had to stop to work on three requests for Feel Better Friends.
Credit for the patterns I use goes to,  Carewear, Preemie Burial Gown pattern, by Bonnie Hagerman
http://carewear.org/content/assets/sewing/preemie_burial_gown.pdf
and the short gown is from Mamma That Makes

This is the donated wedding gown that has provided much of the fabric and lace for the gowns I have made.

Welshies love Dragons

Welshies love all dragons, especially red ones. I started this back in March, but it was always too big for my liking. Finally, I restarted with a finer yarn and I am happy with the result. Once a month I join a group of wonderful ladies who make and donate chemo caps in memory of a woman named Liz.
I first heard of them through my friend Sandy, back when Carl was in the hospital in 2013. I made and donated some monster hats for children at that time.
My personal goal was to make 12 unique hats styled for children in 2015. This is my donation for October's get together. This is my 15th hat for this year.
My hat was photobombed by the cat, Whisper.

She's baaack!

I have been away for far too long. Something happened and most of my pictures disappeared from the blog. I have no idea why but will try to reconstruct some of them.
I have been tremendously busy over the past year with the Feel Better Friends Project.
More on that later.
Suffice it to say. I am going to be posting at least once a week from now on. I have some patterns and ideas to share.
To those of you who have hung around, thank you for stopping by and checking up on me.
